An elderly man has died following a late-night Wednesday fire on Detroit's west side.
It happened around 11 p.m. on West Morrow Circle and Tireman, near the border with Dearborn.
Fire crews pulled the man from the home and rushed him to the hospital. The Wayne County medical examiner says the man did not survive.
A witness says the man may have been huddled in a bathroom, trying to avoid the flames, when he was pulled out.
There's no word on what may have started the fire.
