DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are investigating after a partially-mummified body was found in the basement of a home on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, they received the call around 1 p.m. saying that the homeowner had discovered the body in the basement.
It happened at a home in the 16000 block of Tracy, which is near Puritan and Scheafer on the city's west side.
Right now, police haven't released many details except to say that the human remains were found.
