CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police are looking for a man accused of stealing an elderly woman's wallet.
According to a Facebook post from Clinton Township police, the suspect followed the woman around a grocery store as she shopped.
Police say he pretended to shop and collected items near her, even asking her to read a price to him. He reportedly covered his hand with a coat as he took her wallet from her open purse.
The suspected allegedly used the woman's credit cards 30 minutes later at another store. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Simon at 586-493-7886.
