Police have identified the victim as 28-year-old Dominique Deshawn Lee.
According to police, Lee left the parking area of the apartment complex in his Chevy Trax before crashing into a porch in the courtyard.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call police.

Police say the victim has died from his injuries.

Ypsilanti police are investigating a shooting that happened outside of an apartment building on Michigan Avenue.
Sources tell 7 Action News that officers were called to the scene around 2:40 a.m. on reports of a car nearly striking an apartment building. When they arrived, they reportedly found a man sitting in the driver's seat of a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, but sources say he is in very bad shape.
An investigation is underway.
