DETROIT (WXYZ) — A Detroit man who was convicted for a shooting that killed three people at a White Castle in the city will spend the rest of his life in prison.
A judge sentenced 30-year-old William Wilbourn-Little to life in prison for the shooting last September.
Officers say all three victims were pronounced dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.
The shooting happened overnight on Sept. 9, 2018, and police arrived to find three victims dead.
Police say handguns were also recovered from inside of the lobby area of the restaurant, and bullet holes were in the windows.
One victim was 20-year-old Deshawn Gadson. His mother said she rushed to the restaurant when she got the call from police, but she knew it was too late.
“They wouldn’t tell me anything," Tonya Gadson said. "That’s when I started breaking down because I knew my son was in there and he wasn’t alive.”
