A man in a black hoodie, wearing a pumpkin mask, stole a woman’s car with her purse inside, according to Madison Heights police.
It happened around 4:45 p.m. in Madison Heights in the parking lot at a strip mall on Dequindre, just north of 11 Mile, where Sona Pharmacy is located.
Authorities are searching for a suspect.
Officers could be seen examining a car in the parking lot, near a Toarmina's Pizza location in the strip mall.
Investigators are trying to figure out if this is related to two hotel robberies earlier in the day in Livonia with a man fitting the same description.
