REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — A 58-year-old man using a wheelchair died after being hit by a car in Redford Township.
Police say the man was crossing northbound Telegraph on his way to a gas station between West Chicago and Cathedral.
The man was rushed to the hospital, but did not survive.
Police say the driver remained on scene. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
