ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) — A 26-year-old man is being treated at a local hospital after pointing a gun at Roseville police Monday night.
Officers were dispatched to 18944 Masonic for reports of a man "creating a disturbance" around 11:03 p.m. Sept. 2.
At the scene, cops encountered the 26-year-old who was armed with a handgun, police say. The man reportedly pointed his gun at the officers, "who discharged their duty weapons but did not hit the subject," according to the City of Roseville Police Department.
The subject then began running on foot but was immediately tackled by officers. He was taken into custody without further incident.
None of the officers involved were injured.
The man is being treated for minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
