DETROIT (WXYZ) — A man who has been missing for several months was found deceased in the basement of a multi-unit building in Detroit.
On Aug. 29, police were called to 6232 Cadieux on a report of the body of a man found by a worker in the building.
Police say officers found the body in a fetal position in a closet in the basement.
There were no signs of foul play, police say. It was determined that the man died of natural causes.
Police identified the body as that of a 38-year-old man who was reported missing on March 15 at 10:30 a.m.
The manager of the apartment building reported that man as missing after he walked away on March 14. Police say the man had reportedly been known to leave the building but return an hour or two later.
