YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police are warning citizens about a possible stranger danger incident in Yspilanti Township.
Investigators say a man tried to lure a 12-year-old girl away from her home Saturday night on Wharton Avenue near Ecorse Road.
The girl told police the man asked her to come over to him multiple times. He was seen on surveillance video on his bike in front of the girl's house.
Investigators say she ran inside and called police.
Police say the man looks to be in his 30s with long strawberry blond hair and a stocky build. He was also reportedly riding a bike that was a cream-colored beach cruiser style.
