Man robs Southfield bank by handing threatening note to teller

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) — Southfield police say a man entered a Huntington Bank on Greenfield Road and presented a threatening note to a teller to rob the place.

The robbery happened Feb. 27 at 4 p.m. at the Huntington Bank at 23195 Greenfield Road in Southfield. Police say the suspect, a white man between 30 and 40 years old, gave the teller the note which stated that he would shoot her if she didn't give him money.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was seen during the robbery and no one was hurt.

Police say the suspect is between 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 6 feet tall. He has a goatee and was wearing a black glove and a yellow glove.
