The man convicted in the gruesome murder of a Troy woman was sentenced to life in prison today.
Last month, a jury convicted Jordan McClanahan of first-degree murder and mutilation of a body.
Police say the Hazel Park man strangled 21-year-old Jessica White, cut off her fingertips and hid her body in the attic of his home.
McClanahan claimed he had taken prescription drugs and was drinking the night of White's death.
