HARPER WOODS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Harper Woods police say a man is dead after being shot several times inside an apartment.
The apartment complex where the shooting happened is located on Kingsville, near the intersection of Moross and Chester.
Police say they were called to the apartment at 5:59 Sunday morning, and that the man who had been shot several times was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
According to police, they have a female Harper Woods resident in custody.
A resident of the apartment complex says he was told by a police officer on scene that this shooting was a case of domestic violence.
Police would not comment further on their investigation, and say it remains under investigation.
