Police are on the scene of a violent carjacking in Highland Park.
It happened just after 5:45 a.m. on Hamilton not far from the Lodge and the Davison.
Police say the driver was shot -- and then the gunman stole his car. The victim is in temporary serious condition.
Police are still looking for the gunman.
