WXYZ — State police are investigating a shooting death in Inkster. It happened Saturday on Lehigh Street near John Daly.
Police say the victim was shot in the head while sitting inside his Chrysler vehicle.
We're told the victim got into some sort of altercation with another driver in the area, and that’s when he was shot and killed.
Officers on scene say the victim had a passenger who was not injured. That passenger put the car in reverse, finally stopping down the block.
Police are still looking for the male suspect, believed to be in a burgundy-colored Camry.
