DETROIT'S WEST SIDE (WXYZ) — A man was shot & killed on Detroit's west side on Thursday morning, a spokesperson for the Detroit Police Department tells us.
The shooting happened in the 16900 block of Lamphere, near the intersection of Lamphere and Puritan.
Investigators say that a fight started between two people, leading to shots being fired.
The man, 40, was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect has since been placed in custody.
