INKSTER (WXYZ) — A man is in custody after another man was shot multiple times in Inkster on Tuesday.
Michigan State Police responded to the area of New York near Princess in Inkster on the report of a man being shot.
When troopers with MSP and Inkster police arrived they found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the street next to a Range Rover.
The victim was taken to a local hospital.
A suspect who matched witness descriptions was seen entering a home and then quickly leaving, which led to a short foot search. A K-9 unit was also activated for the search.
The suspect was soon taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
