Roseville police say a man who suffered a "catastrophic medical event" while driving died and then crashed into a Wendy's restaurant on Sunday morning.
According to police, the 65-year-old man was driving accelerated rapidly and left the roadway, hitting several traffic signs and crashing into the restaurant.
Police say the man had many different ailments and didn't suffer any injuries from the crash itself.
The Wendy's was closed at the time and no one was harmed in the crash, but the building did suffer significant structural damage.
