Man with mental health condition missing after using rideshare service in Detroit

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Have you seen missing 41-year-old Cortez Sanders?

Police say Cortez was last seen by his caretaker on May 26 around 9:20 a.m. in the 19300 block of Dean Street.

Cortez left the location in a ride share vehicle in route to the City County Building, according to police. The caretaker told police that around 12 p.m., Cortez called her saying the building was closed. She stated since the call, she has not heard from him and he has not come home.

He is described as 5-feet 8-inches and 150-180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hat, multicolored polo shirt with black stripes, blue jeans and white and black shoes.

Cortez is in good physical condition, but according to his family, suffers from a mental health condition and a medical condition.
