ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police are investigating a shooting that happened at a Walmart parking lot in Roseville.
According to the Roseville Police Department, officers responded to the Walmart on 28804 Gratiot for reports of shots fired around 6:40 p.m.
The officers spoke with loss prevention and several witnesses who provided information about a physical fight that broke out. A physical altercation happened between a 20-year-old female resident of Roseville and two unknown men.
During the fight, the woman took out a firearm and shot at the two men. One of the unknown men also took out a gun and shot back at the woman, according to police. The woman was struck once in the foot, police say.
The unknown men left the scene in a White Chrysler 300.
The injured woman was taken to a local hospital where she was interviewed by the police department.
