Detroit police are investigating after the body of a man was found on a sidewalk on Detroit's east side.
He was found near 8 Mile near Schoenherr.
Officers say the victim had been shot. A man walking by saw the body and called police.
Homicide detectives are on the scene.
No word on what led up to the shooting or if there have been any arrests.
