ROYAL OAK, Mich. (WXYZ) — A Marathon gas station in Royal Oak will offer customers reduced gas prices and free gas cards Tuesday.
Community Choice Credit Union says it will cover the bill for $0.50 off per gallon for every customer, while $1,500 in funds last. The credit union will also randomly pass out another $450 in free gas cards.
The grassroots effort to incentivize the general public to support small businesses in their communities during Christmas week will take place at the Marathon on 12 Mile and Crooks from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
