A large barn burned to the ground in Lenox Township on Sunday night.
Fortunately, the barn was vacant. The Macomb County Command Desk says the barn had been used for therapeutic horse riding. There were no horses or equipment inside at the time.
The former owner, Rex Beasaw, says he lost the barn to the bank last year after dealing with health issues.

Twelve different fire departments responded to the fire.
