DEARBORN, Mich. (WXYZ) — In honor of Law Enforcement Appreciation Week, our men and women in blue were recognized during the Dearborn Police Department Awards Ceremony Tuesday.

Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, as well as Dearborn Mayor John B. O'Reilly, Jr., served as event speakers and highlighted the live-saving efforts of award recipients.

Sergeant Tim Stacey, Lieutenant Andrew Zelazny and Corporal Christopher Kneeshaw were all awarded the Chief's Outstanding Service Award.

Here is Dearborn Police Officer of the Year Corporal Gary Cerroni and his beautiful family.

Cerroni and Kneeshaw are both in the Dearborn Police Explorer Program.

Congrats to all our servicemen and women. Thank you for your service!
