Mega Millions jackpot rises to $750 million after no one hits Tuesday's numbers

(WXYZ) — The Mega Millions jackpot is now $750 million after no one hit Tuesday's numbers.

Tuesday night, the drawing had the numbers 12, 14, 26, 28, 33 and the Mega Ball of 9.

There were eight tickets that matched all five numbers. They came in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey, Texas and Washington. Another person in Florida matched 5 numbers with the megaplier.

The highest jackpot in history was $1.537 billion, on by an anonymous player in South Carolina on Oct. 23, 2018.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350, and the next drawing is Friday night.

Wednesday's Powerball jackpot is also at a high number, $550 million.
