Meijer is alerting customers that diesel and certain unleaded fuels sold at the gas station located at Groesbeck Highway in Clinton Township may have been contaminated.
Any customer who purchased diesel, unleaded regular or unleaded mid-grade fuel on Friday from 2:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at that location is asked to contact Meijer at 1-800-543-3704.
Customers who purchased unleaded premium fuel are not impacted.
Records show approximately 250 customers may have been affected. Meijer is attempting to reach customers where possible.
There was an error by the company that handles fuel delivery and transportation. Diesel was put in non-diesel tanks and regular fuel was put in the diesel tank.
