(WXYZ) — Meijer has announced Friday a recall of its Meijer brand Ultimate Chocolate Mint Chip Cookies.
The cookies contain soy, an allergen not properly listed on the label.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The cookies were sold between Feb. 13 and Feb. 20 in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Wisconsin stores. About 720 packages were sold.
