REDFORD, Mich. (WXYZ) — A metro Detroit bakery is serving up a uniquely Detroit/Michigan treat in honor of the start of baseball season. Ackryod's Scottish Bakery in Redford is selling Coney Dog pasties all April long.
The Scottish bakery on 5 Mile Rd. in Redford has been around for 70 years, and said they are selling the pasty in honor of the start of the Detroit Tigers baseball season.
They take chili, mustard, onions and hot dogs, add cheddar cheese and stuff them inside their handmade puff pastry.
