(WXYZ) — COVID-19 has been tough on students, teachers and parents. But a new metro Detroit company has created something unique. Its goal is to help alleviate the challenges of learning online, from all angles.

Our Andrea Isom introduces us to an educator who is making a difference!

The product is called a Hoglet! It’s a functional fidget mouse. So, it’s a cross between the fidget toy and a computer mouse. It looks cool and it feels cool!

But more importantly, the difference it is making is monumental and amazing.

“It’s the best feeling I’ve ever had in education, really in my life to be honest with you," says inventor, founder and owner Parker Lynch. "To see the reaction with these kids."

Lynch is putting his heart and soul into this.

The Hoglet is a prototype. So let’s help him bring it to market. Head to hedgehoghealth.com to find out when the kick-starter campaign will get underway. The countdown is on!
