Former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos was indicted on Monday and pleaded guilty to making a false statement to the FBI, but a metro Detroit man with the same name wants you to know he is not the same man!
George Papdopoulos, a certified financial planner from Novi, began getting tweets shortly after the indictments came down on Monday morning.
"For the nth time, I am NOT Trump's foregin policy adviser! I have NO association with the Trump camp! NONE!" he tweeted around 10:45 a.m. Monday.

Despite being in Greece visiting his mother, as he said, Papadopoulos has been tweeting nonstop about the situation.
"I am back now from our village where there are MANY George Papadopoulos men! News hit here but the ame is so common it is not a big deal :)," he tweeted.
To all: I am NOT that George Papadopoulos. I am in Greece visiting my mother so today it has been kind of surreal to keep up with.

He even said someone followed him on Twitter and listed him as part of President Trump's cabinet.
