An Eastpointe man could face charges after allegedly threatening to use explosives to kill the family of his ex-wife.
According to a criminal complaint filed this morning, Billy Street sent threatening text messages to his ex-wife's mother, claiming he was going to blow up her home with her and her grandchildren inside.
Street reportedly has a 10-year-old child in the grandmother's care.
Street is also accused of texting photos to the grandmother of what appeared to be a pipe bomb and writing messages like "...you [sic] your grandmother and your daughter are going to die" and "I'm putting this dynamite under your pillow bitch."
Early this month, Street was arrested at Detroit Metro Airport.
The criminal complaint revealed that a witness verified that Street was in possession of such a device.
During questioning after his arrest, Street reportedly said that "something was happening tonight" and asked authorities to get his daughter out of the house beforehand.
