The Bruce Township Clerk has pleaded guilty to driving while super drunk, but there are important questions she's not answering, including about how she treated voters and her future.

According to reports from Michigan State Police, the clerk tried to make a deal out on the scene with arresting officers to just let her go home or drive her home.

It happened around 3 a.m. on Sept. 11. The building alarm went off, Michigan State Police arrived and Susan Brockmann backed her car into a police cruiser causing minor damage.

She was asked if she had been drinking. She said yes, but also said she was the township clerk.

Brockmann has been criticized for keeping her arrest in September from voters in November when she was elected to a third 4-year term. Her charges were not issued and her case not made public until after the election because officials were waiting on toxicology results.
