(WXYZ) — Michigan drivers are now paying an average price of $2.85 per gallon for regular unleaded, AAA Michigan reports.
The average is 4 cents more than a week ago and 4 cents more than this time last month. AAA notes drivers are still paying 16 cents less than this time last year.
Motorists are paying an average of $43 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline.
The most expensive gas price averages are in Ann Arbor ($2.92), Metro Detroit ($2.89) and Jackson ($2.86.) The least expensive gas price averages are in Traverse City ($2.69), Marquettte ($2.77) and Benton Harbor ($2.81.)
