(WXYZ) — The Michigan House is taking steps to repeal the state pension tax.
The House tax policy committee voted to roll it back on most pension incomes. The tax made a lot of seniors angry when it was imposed in 2011.
Getting ride of the tax has had bipartisan support in Lansing. The bill has to go to another committee before it can head to the full state House for a vote.
