Today is the day potheads around the world rejoice with a celebratory toke.

And the moment they’re all waiting for – to light up at 4:20 on 4-20.

While celebrations are taking place around the country, with the Official 420 Rallyin Denver and pro-marijuana protests in Washington, D.C., Michigan is partaking in some of its own rituals.

The First Cannabis Church of Logic and Reason is holding its inaugural Green Mile Pot Crawl event in Lansing today.

And organizers say if participants want to crawl in style, Michigan Green Tours, will offer cannabis-friendly limo rides.

The event is only open to valid medical marijuana card holders.

Michigan bans marijuana use and possession unless it's medical marijuana.

Voters in six Michigan communities passed marijuana decriminalization measures in November 2014. Voters in two Oakland County communities passed similar measures that August, while voters in Lansing were among residents in three cities who approved decriminalization proposals in 2013.
