Michigan pastor tied up, shocked with stun gun during church robbery

STOCKBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Ingham County Sheriff's Office is looking for two suspects involved in a church robbery in Stockbridge Township early Wednesday morning.

Police say around 4 a.m., deputies responded to Good Shepherd Mission Church located on M-36 for a report of a robbery.

The pastor was awakened by the two suspects in his bedroom. One of the suspects was armed with a stun gun, police say.

The pastor was then shocked with the stun gun and tied up before the suspects left the church with an unknown amount of cash.

Police say a person staying in the home was able to untie the pastor and call police. The pastor refused medical treatment when EMS arrived on scene.

The suspects are described as white men -- one is 5-foot 5-inches, 140 pounds and the other is about 6-foot, 250-300 pounds.
