(WXYZ) — Michigan State Police have investigated 12 unrelated freeway shootings in the metro Detroit area since June 15.
Eleven have taken place in Wayne County and one in Oakland County.
Two incidents resulted in death, police say.
Police say of the 12 incidents, eight of them started as a traffic altercation.
