DETROIT (WXYZ) — A Michigan State Trooper trooper was injured when his undercover unit was involved in a traffic crash Wednesday evening.
According to the MSP Metro Detroit Twitter, the crash happened at 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of Livernois and Cadet in Detroit.
The crash involved a civilian vehicle, according to police.

The trooper and civilian driver were both injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment. No further details were immediately available regarding how the crash occurred.
