MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (TMJ4) — The man wanted in connection with both a homicide and AMBER Alert has been taken into custody by Milwaukee police, according to a report from our sister station TMJ4.

Dariaz Higgins was arrested just before 1 p.m. Wednesday in the 5200 block of N. 103rd St. 2-year-old Noelani Robinson remains missing, police say. Although Milwaukee police initially said Noelani could be in the Ann Arbor area, Ann Arbor police say as of Thursday morning that they do not believe she is.

An AMBER Alert was issued for Robinson Monday night, and police said Tuesday that Higgins, the suspect in her disappearance, was also responsible for the death of Noelani's mother, Sierra Robinson.

A second suspect was arrested with Higgins for aiding a fugitive. Police say they continue to use all available resources to locate Noelani.
