Michigan State Police say a missing 16-year-old Michigan girl who was believed to be in danger has been found on the campus of Iowa State University.
Joy Dene Martin was found safe and in good health, according to MSP.
Martin left her home in Fennville Michigan sometime Saturday, and was reportedly last seen in Saugatuck, Mich., which is south of Holland on Lake Michigan.
Police said she voluntarily left her home after she befriended someone on the KIK messaging app and may have left the state on a Greyhound bus.
Arrangements are being made to reconnect Martin with her family.
The incident remains under investigation.
