(WXYZ) — Police are looking for a missing 73-year-old woman suffering from dementia.
Fayte Abbott was last seen by a family friend on Aug. 27 at her home in the 19700 block of Rutherford.
Her friend came to the location to check on her, police say. When she told him she was hungry, he left the location to get some food. When he returned to the location, her vehicle was gone.
Police say she is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray head scarf, gray t-shirt, blue jeans and a knee brace on her left leg.
She may also be driving a black 2005 Ford Taurus.
