TAYLOR, Mich. (WXYZ) — A Taylor, Michigan teen missing since Nov. 1, 2020, has been located safely, according to police.

Gloria Alvarado, 15, went missing last fall. Her mother said that she first noticed the teen gone when she went to wake her up for school one morning. The teen's bedroom window was left open and the screen had been cut. Alvarado's cell phone had also been left behind, leading family to believe there was foul play in her disappearance.

Prior to Alvarado's disappearance, police were on the search for another Taylor teen, Marissa Peters, 14, who was last seen in May.

The two families gathered outside of the Taylor City Hall in November calling for help from the community to help bring the girls back home.

Taylor police have not released additional details regarding Alvarado's whereabouts or where exactly she was located. The investigation is ongoing.

Peters is still missing. If you have any information on her location, call 1-877-507-7774 ext. 708.
