TROY, Mich. (WXYZ) — The reach of Mitch Albom's efforts with SAY Detroit is really remarkable. Another year and Albom shot for a record total of more than $1.3 million.
The annual radiothon was held Thursday at Troy's Somerset Collection.

SAY Detroit, which was founded February 2006, helps those in need in Detroit by providing shlter, food, medical care, volunteer efforts and education.
The radiothon is broadcast live on WJR 760 AM.
