MONROE, Mich. (WXYZ) — Monroe City police are asking for the public's help locating a teen who ran away from his grandmother's home and hasn't been seen since Sept. 11.
Thomas Giles was staying with his grandmother in Monroe for the summer, and was given permission by his father, who lives in Virginia, to stay longer as long as his school work was completed. Family says Thomas wasn't doing well in school and his step-mom was scheduled to pick him up on Sept. 12, but his grandmother found a note from him saying he had run away.
Thomas has several medical conditions and requires medication, police say.
If you have information on Thomas' whereabouts, contact Monroe City Police at 734-243-7500.
