Broadcast House played host to more than 100 future broadcasters from all across the state of Michigan on Saturday.
The National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE), along with WXYZ and TV20 Detroit hosted the panel discussion and career day in Studio A.
Students heard from people in all aspects of broadcast television and radio, from producers, promoters and sales people, to public television operators and those working behind the scenes in media relations.
Students and teachers also heard from WXYZ Vice President and General Manager Mike Murri and E.W. Scripps Divisional General Manager Ed Fernandez, TV20 Host Jessica Lundy and 7 Action News Reporter Nima Shaffe.
Three lucky students were awarded scholarships and the day wrapped up with a tour of Broadcast House.
