LAS VEGAS (AP) — Prosecutors have dropped most charges against a 24-year-old Detroit man accused of firing a gunshot that caused a panicked Memorial Day evacuation at a Las Vegas Strip shopping mall.

Hasean Quinn remained in custody Friday after a judge reduced bail from $136,000 to $25,000 but referred to "pandemonium" following the Monday evening gunshot at the Fashion Show mall.

Justice of the Peace Ann Zimmerman noted the shopping center isn't far from where 58 people died and more than 850 were injured in an October 2017 mass shooting.

Quinn still faces firing a shot in a structure and concealed weapon without a permit charges. Thirteen assault with a weapon counts were dropped.

His attorney, Lisa Rasmussen, said outside court he'll plead not guilty but she hopes to resolve the case before trial.
