The U.S. Marshals need your help to find a convicted sex offender and drug dealer now wanted for home invasion and assault out of Oakland County.

The Marshals are confident Alfred Garrett is in Pontiac but his family and friends are not cooperating so they need your help in order to put this dangerous man back behind bars.

“This guy is out of control, he’s dabbled with everything, he’s dabbled with drugs, he’s committed sex assault, he’s sold narcotics,” Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Aaron Garcia said.  “Now he’s doing home invasions, armed robbery – who knows what this guy is capable of next it seems like his crimes are escalating as time goes by.”

It’s easy to see why Alfred Garrett is at the top of the U.S. Marshals Most Wanted list.

“He obviously has not learned his lesson, he goes from one crime to another and now it’s gotten to the point where he’s going with guns and he’s armed robbing people, pistol whipping people he obviously knows,” Garcia said.

Garrett is now wanted for that pistol whipping incident in Pontiac in 2016.

“He demands more money and he doesn’t have any more money so he commences to beat him in the head, pistol whips him with a friend and robs him of some more money,” Garcia said.

He’s also wanted for being a registered sex offender out of compliance.

Alfred Garrett is 47-years-old, he’s 6’2” and 190 pounds.

“All his family is from Pontiac, this guy is going to be in Pontiac, a lot of people know him, zero cooperation,” Garcia said.

Which is why the U.S. Marshals are counting on your help, before it’s too late.

“Nobody’s safe with guys like that out on the street, you don’t know who their next victim is going to be, is it going to be another armed robbery, is it going to be another sex assault? God forbid a drug overdose? We don’t know,” Garcia said.

As always there’s a cash reward for any information leading to Alfred Garrett’s arrest.  You can call the U.S. Marshals anytime at (313) 234-5656.
