We continue our partnership with the US Marshals working to catch the seven most dangerous fugitives in Detroit in seven days.
It was a 7-year-old family member the US Marshals say fell victim to Louis Wilson. An alleged sex crime against the child landed Wilson on top of the Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team’s most wanted list.
“Louis Wilson is a predator that needs to get off the street- any human being who would do these acts on a young 7-year-old kid needs to go to jail,” Deputy US Marshal Aaron Garcia said. “This guy is a prime example of just a disgusting individual.”
Wilson, 20, has been on the run since 2014. He has family and friends in Detroit but also has ties to Texas where police believe he may have run for some time before returning to Detroit.
“We don’t know where he is, he could be anywhere and I sure don’t want that guy as my neighbor,” Garcia said.
That’s why police are asking for your help tracking him down.
“This guy has no criminal history, he’s not required to register with the state,” Garcia said.
Garcia says he’s nervous Wilson already has already claimed more victims preying in our backyards ready to strike again.
“These criminals who commit these crimes against young children typically it don’t just happen one time- they continue to do it,” he said.
Louis Wilson is 5’8” 160 pounds with ties to the Detroit area and Texas.
