7 Action News has learned that another of Detroit's Most Wanted has been taken into custody.
Leroy Newson was taken into custody today, less than a month after being featured on 7 Action News.
Newson was wanted in the connection with the murder of 28-year-old Antonio Brown at a birthday party. Brown was shot and killed on November 9 at around 2:00 a.m.
Police say Newson came to the house and wanted a woman to leave with him. Officers say there was a disagreement, and he left and returned later with a couple carloads of people.
That's when more than a dozen shots were fired. 7 Action News was quickly on the scene.
At the time Brown had one child with a baby on the way. Family members told us he worked two jobs to provide for his family.
"I love him so much, he just had his first baby," his aunt, Lanea Love, said at the time. "I just hope they catch this guy. My nephew didn't deserve this."
