DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are looking for a 28-year-old woman who was last seen by her mother on Friday, March 27.

The mother of Showntae Beauford says the woman has left home for extended periods of time before but she always checks in. Showntae was last seen March 27 around midnight in the 15000 block of Edmore. She left her home and never returned.

Showntae has a medical condition, according to her family.

She's between 5 foot 7 inches and 5 foot 8 inches tall. She has a tattoo on her neck that reads "Erick." She was last seen wearing a black and white hoodie, green ankle boots and white stretch pants, police say.

If you have information on Showntae's whereabouts, call the Detroit Police Department's 9th Precinct at 596-5940 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up.
